I am Geoff Donnison and have arranged to provide counselling at Himley Road Methodist Church, Gornal Wood, near to Dudley in the Black Country, where I am a member. I have trained and have experience in a wide variety of counselling approaches; I aim to tailor my counselling to meet the needs of various clients. Counselling is never about imposing my own views on a client; however, as a qualified counsellor who is a Christian, I am able to explore in depth aspects of Christian faith with clients if that is their desire. I counsel individuals and couples.
Sometimes life throws unexpected and horrible things our way. It can take a lot of courage to begin to talk to someone about life’s difficulties, but deciding to engage in counselling can often be a step which offers renewed hope. Counsellors are used to seeing people in distress and have been trained to remain calm and make a safe space for you.

What are the Costs?
The full price for an hour-long (50 minutes by video link) individual session is £45; for couples the full price is £60 for a ninety minute session (75 minutes by video link). However, if this is not considered to be affordable for you, then please discuss with me as I do not want the cost to be a barrier to persons getting help - I do not want anyone to feel excluded. In all cases, an initial assessment will be offered free of charge without obligation.
